Clarke was established in 1996, we are a family owned and run construction company situated on the Raceview Road in Broughshane, taking residence in Michelins old training centre.
Founded by Company Chairman Michael Clarke in the mid-90’s, the business has grown from strength to strength with son Eugene leading the company as Managing Director. In 2018, the company upped its roots from Portglenone to the Ecos Centre, spring-boarding the companies’ success in the façade industry.
In 2022, we moved to our HQ in Broughshane, where our state-of-the-art Offices and Advanced Offsite Facility is found. Our full Offsite capacity manufactures and assembles aluminium windows, doors, curtain wall and unitised glazing.
Our HQ, is a 1960’s building has been carefully repurposed and modernised into state-of-the-art office accommodation, purposely exposing original features internally to maintain the heritage of the building whilst using Clarkes skillset to modernise the building in terms of use, energy efficiency and aesthetics. The repurposing of the original building has ensured a lower carbon footprint and operates with 100% renewable electricity. The building features our very own unitised curtain wall system along with interfaces of other cladding and curtain wall systems from their supply chain.
In December 2022, we announced that BGF came in as an Investment Partner, investing £5m in Clarke Group to support our growth across the UK and Ireland. With a strong market reputation for quality, sustainable products, and cutting-edge designs for high-rise commercial and residential buildings, we experienced exponential growth, 25% since 2018 year on year. The investment supports a strong order book as we continues to scale across the UK and Ireland.
In July 2023, we introduced “Re:Build” – our on-site gym located at HQ. We felt that providing our staff with an on-site gym was a great way to promote health and wellbeing for our staff and also help with those ever rising external gym membership costs! It is a great way for our staff to socialise and let off a bit of steam.
In 2024, we made significant progress by opening a new office in Manchester, now home to part of our estimating teams. This move represents an important milestone in our ongoing growth in the UK market.
