On Monday 10th July we had a grand opening for our new on-site gym at HQ, it is fully equipped with a large variety of different gym equipment – there something for everyone!
Our people are at the core of everything we do, we felt that providing our staff with an on-site gym was a great way to promote health and wellbeing for our staff and also help with those ever rising external gym membership costs! It is a great way for our staff to socialise and let off a bit of steam.
We introduced an app that allows staff to book a time slot, either before or after work. We also ask members to pay £5 a month for use of the gym with all proceeds going to our charity partner, Northern Ireland Air Ambulance.
A special thank you to all members of staff who worked hard in the designing of the gym, implementation of the app, ordering the equipment and overseeing the project from start to finish – it is fair to say that it has been a great success!!
