Children’s Heartbeat Trust

We are excited to announce that our 2022 charity partnership is with Children’s Heartbeat Trust, a local charity in Northern Ireland providing practical, emotional, and financial support to children, young people and their families affected by heart disease, one of the most common birth defects in the UK.

Each year, over 200 babies are born in Northern Ireland with Congenital Heart Disease and over a third of these children face open heart surgery throughout their lives. This year, we are channeling our fundraising efforts into raising much needed funds for CHT to positively impact the lives of children and young people affected with heart disease.

We kicked off our partnership with Lynn from Children’s Heartbeat Trust presenting to the Clarke team on all things CHT, explaining more about the charity, the work they do and how the money raised will support so many families.

From family support activities to youth services and funding equipment for the Clark Clinic, we are on a mission to raise as much money as possible in 2022 to support the amazing work of Children’s Heartbeat Trust!

Our first fundraiser for the charity took place on Pancake Tuesday, going head to head our departments battled it out with a time and taste challenge – what better way to kick start a partnership than on Pancake Day!
