East Wick & Sweetwater

East Wick and Sweetwater, a regeneration scheme situated in the QueenElizabeth Olympic Park in London features custom-made pre-panelized fins designed, engineered and fabricated in-house at Clarke. The first phase of this master plan saw the delivery of 300+ apartments, townhouses and commercial facilities for this new neighborhood.

Like all homes in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Eastwick and Sweetwater are connected to the district energy network, significantly reducing the carbon emissions associated with heating. This environmentally-focused design earned the neighborhood the Sustainable Construction Award at the 2016 London Construction Awards.

Notably, East Wick achieved a 22.4% reduction in embodied carbon during Phase 1.

The scope of works for Eastwick and Sweetwater included the installation of insulated carrier panels featuring sinusoidal cladding. This was supported by extruded aluminium fin hook-on panels, fabricated in our factory. Additionally, the project encompassed the installation of cappings and soffits for the top-floor balconies. Siderise fire barriers were also incorporated to ensure fire safety throughout the structure.
