Responsible practices guide everything we do here at Clarke. We work with our supply chain partners to ensure that each project we undertake is done in the right way with thought of contribution to our carbon footprint, the impact our work has and the responsibility to do things differently. Ensuring that each project is a step closer to our ESG targets keeps us striving for our projects to be safer and more sustainable as a result of our work.

Eden Campus
Eden Campus was awarded to the Clarke Major Projects team in 2023, working with our supply chain partner Wicona to develop the stage one design. This project utilises Wicona’s Hydro Circal 75 Aluminium profiles. This is made with a minimum of 75% recycled, post-consumer scrap with a carbon footprint among the lowest in the world of 2.3kg CO2 p/KG of aluminium.
By using Circal 75R we have 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟵𝟮𝟭 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝟮 when compared to if we used non optimised standard European aluminium which would have totalled 1,257 tons of CO2 for the same project.

Kensington Forum Hotel
The Kensington Forum Hotel was awarded to the Clarke Re:Purpose Division in 2023. Clarke are undertaking the replacement of over 900 windows, precast cleaning and remediation works. This project will be a benchmark for our circular economy strategy by collaborating with St. Gobain, by recycling all glass back into our supply chain. Frames and new glazing will be replaced throughout the entire build bringing this build back to life. In conjunction with St. Gobain Glass UK and Ireland this project will see approx. 5000m2 of glass being recycled and will save a total of 51.6 tonnes of raw materials and accumulate 30.1 tonnes of CO2 emission savings on this project.
Clarke's mission for a more sustainable approach to our work and the way we operate starts here.
Partnering with companies such as Go Green offer a transparent view of our approach to what we do, what we need to do better and how change our process for future generations.
We began working with Go Green in May 2024 to help track our waste-related GHG emissions, with the goal of measuring and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill. Their reporting allows us to easily track the waste generated on-site, detailing how it is categorised and disposed of.
Go Green is a waste management company that partners with verified, licensed, and legally compliant providers to handle waste management and recycling services.
They collect all licenses, waste transfer notes, and consignment notes, which provide details about the collection site, disposal site, and the waste's weight in tons. Go Green goes a step further by calculating the carbon emissions produced during this process and assessing the methods of disposal. They follow the waste hierarchy to separate waste efficiently, minimising landfill use as much as possible:
