Project Manager (Manchester/Leeds)

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Operations Team.

Our Project Managers are fully responsible for ensuring the delivery of key projects according to budget, timeframe, quality, environmental and safety requirements from contract inception to closeout.

We rely on their ability to take full responsibility for site running and their expertise and experience to ensure the smooth delivery of each project, with high levels of attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality throughout.

Candidate Duties

  • Site Management/Project Management qualification
  • 3+ years’ experience managing projects over £4mil
  • Previous experience as a Manager with a specialist contractor or Main Contractor and responsible for meeting program delivery
  • Experience of following in house quality management systems
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Motivated team player and ability to take initiative
  • Sound knowledge of general construction methods and building regs
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • Ability to share knowledge, mentor and train others
  • Good client-facing and management skills, adept at delegating and planning ahead
  • Growth mindset, prepared to develop and update skills and knowledge
  • Ability to use Microsoft office package
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must hold CSR or CSCS Card

Candidate Requirements – Essential

  • NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate Health & Safety Management for Construction.
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven HSE experience within construction / fabrication / installation.
  • Hold Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) Card, or be willing to obtain.
  • Accident and incident investigation experience.
  • Experience in undertaking health and safety audits.
  • Experience in creating RAMS for complex works.
  • Excellent IT Skills in particular Excel.
  • Full driving license.

Candidate Requirements – Desirable

  • SMSTS Training completed
  • CAD experience
  • 3+ years’ experience managing the full façade packages for contracts above £4mil.Experience of various envelope systems
  • Experience of digital quality management programmes
